Sustainable development is a term used in the modern vocabulary. Ensuring sustainable development in terms of economic, environmental and social aspects is a top priority in the policy of all countries around the world. The need to promote the idea of ​​sustainable development is the reason for experts from different professional fields to join forces and create the association. IASD may be members of the municipal, regional, regional, branch, industry, professional and other organizations as collective members, but can not be members of political parties and movements. The association is a legal entity registered under the provisions of the Non-Profit Legal Entities Act. In its activities it is governed by the laws and the legal provisions of the Republic of Bulgaria and by the statute of the ICDM.
